NZSM has fourteen practice rooms, a percussion studio and a harp room which may be booked from week to week by students enrolled in music courses. Some additional rooms are available for booking by piano students and postgraduates.

It is also possible to book larger rooms, namely Room 209, 211, and the Adam Concert Room, when these are not required for class teaching or other group activities.

Practice facilities are available for performance students only. Students can access practice rooms after hours using their swipe card.

NZSM has an online booking system for practice rooms and composition labs including Lilburn Studio 1 and 2.

Access to the online booking system will be enabled automatically for students according to enrollment. Log in details will be emailed to students within the first two weeks of course commencement. Any questions regarding online booking system access please email: music@vuw.ac.nz
