Salina Fisher is youngest ever winner of SOUNZ Contemporary Award
Prodigious composer and NZSM grad Salina Fisher is the youngest ever winner of the SOUNZ Contemporary Award, announced last night at the 2016 Silver Scroll Awards.
Salina (22) studied composition and violin at Te Kōkī New Zealand School of Music, and in 2014 completed a Postgraduate Diploma with distinction. Her primary teachers have included composers John Psathas, Michael Norris, and Patrick Shepherd.
