Professor Guilford reflected on his time as Vice-Chancellor at a stakeholder event held on Wednesday 2 March. He discussed the highlights of his time as Vice-Chancellor, including Te Herenga Waka’s strong growth in research revenue, the introduction of the University’s Zero Carbon Plan, and improvements to the University’s facilities and campuses.
Professor Guilford also discussed how the University has weathered recent challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic, and how it is responding to the current Omicron outbreak.
Professor Guilford thanked the University’s alumni and friends, whose invaluable support has made a real difference to the lives of many in the Te Herenga Waka community.
