Main site construction work

Monday 21 – Friday 25 August

  • Excavation and concrete works to form pile caps for the next grid of columns.
  • Excavation works to make space for the installation of a transformer to allow the solar power to be fed back into the main power supply.

The top of the building is now wrapped in fabric using the Keder system.  An alternative to screeds of building plastic wrapping that goes straight to landfill, this system allows the Living Pā to meet its stringent waste minimisation targets while also enabling further interior building work to continue during blustery and wet weather.
