Ngā mahi ki te Pā—Site Works

Main site construction work

Super structure, roofing, and south wall excavation works will continue. The electric crane will be lifting flooring into the southern end of the superstructure. Windows are being installed on the northern Kelburn Parade façade.

Front of Murphy Annex construction work

Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) works are continuing, and the team will be readying the site for enclosure the following week. This will include concrete pouring and placement of iron framing, but we aren’t expecting this to be noisy.

Bus shelter works are progressing well. This period will see the continued application of signage. The living roof will have soil and plants put in over this period, and it will be close to completion.

The Murphy overbridge offers a great viewing platform should anybody like to follow these works.

Ngā whakamahuki—Progress

The front of Murphy Annex construction work is close to completion. We anticipate that once exams have finished, the footpath will be reinstated in preparation for pedestrians and use of the remarkable new living roof bus stop. We will keep you informed.
