Ngā mahi ki te Pā — Site works
There is a one-lane road closure on Wednesday 22 November. This will allow our 100-tonne mobile crane to lift the remaining superstructure components in place at the south end of the site.
Main site construction work
The Living Pā will rely only on solar panels to provide its energy requirements. In fact, to gain ‘Living Certification’, the building must produce net positive energy, meeting 105% of our energy needs from our site.
During this next period, we will begin installing structural steel to hold the solar panels on the roof of the Living Pā.
Monday 13 – Friday 24 November
- Roof continues to be installed, causing general construction noise.
- Façade installation work continues.
- Structural steel will start to be installed to hold the solar panels.
- Superstructure erection continues.
Ngā whakamahuki—Progress
The Waste Water Treatment Plant has now been completed, and the bus shelter is in place. The hoarding lines have been moved to allow pedestrian access to the Murphy Annex.
While the bus shelter is in place, Greater Wellington Regional Council has a few more steps to complete before it can be used.
Thank you for your patience with this work.
