The LT McGuinness Living Pā crew gathered at 11am today to contemplate and remember Peter McGuinness who passed away on Sunday 26 November 2023.

Peter was a foundational member of LT McGuinness Ltd along with his father and brothers. Peter will be fondly remembered within the Wellington construction industry and as a generous supporter and contributor to his many community interests.

James McLean, project manager, explained that Peter visited the Living Pā earlier, and that he was excited to see the company deploy further innovative and advanced building methods.

In showing their respects the crew raised a flag at half-crane, followed by a moment of silence. The flag read, Peter McGuinness, 1947- 2023, Builder, Engineer, Innovator & Leader.

The onsite tribute coincided with the requiem mass being held at SS Peter and Paul’s Church in Lower Hutt.
