Poems poured in from all corners of our university student community. The Library staff thoroughly enjoyed reading through them all, with three coming out on top:

1st - Hotere's Manhire by Anna Hoek-Sims

2nd - Affirmation in a disabled train station bathroom by  Emma Norton

3rd - te be tangata tiriti by Etienne Wain

Participants had more to offer, so we have displayed all poetry submission (even some given to us after the competition closed) on the Black Pillar on Level 2 of Kelburn Library. We have had many Library visitors suggest we expand on this with various projects, so watch this space moving forward, and thank you all for your enthusiasm and creativity!
