Honouring former Law Faculty Club and Victoria Law Students’ Society Presidents
A new honours board recognising the work and dedication of past Law Faculty Club and VUWLSS Presidents will be displayed at Government Buildings.
A new honours board to recognise the work and dedication of past Law Faculty Club and Victoria Law Students’ Association Presidents will be displayed at Government Buildings.
Funds to complete the work have been generously donated by Yvonne Chan (LLB(Hons) 1982), as part of allocations from an endowment that she created in 2010.
The board will be displayed in the corridor leading to the student common room on the ground floor of Government Buildings alongside existing honours boards recognising student competitions including Māori, Pasifika, junior and senior mooting, junior and senior negotiation, client interviewing, and witness examination.
We are currently in the process of researching and compiling the names of past presidents to be displayed on the board. If you are familiar with any past presidents or specific years and would like to review the list, it is available for you to check.
We welcome any updates or information that could assist in ensuring the list is as accurate as possible. Names before 1960 will unfortunately not be displayed on the physical board but will always be viewable at the link below.
