Ora Cards mission is to encourage the uptake of the Te Reo Māori language in New Zealand by making games that promote basic Māori speaking and make learning fun for all ages. Ora Cards company's flagship product, Tahi, is a card game that features iconic kiwiana elements accompanied by their respective Te Reo names, as well as colour and number for young learners and their families. Ora Cards is committed to providing affordable and accessible learning resources to all New Zealand children, believing that every child deserves an equal opportunity to learn and grow.
Ora Cards outstanding efforts have garnered national recognition, including national Young Enterprise Scheme awards in 2021, where they were honoured with the TINZS tourism award, CEO of the year award, and placed second in the BP Award for Social Enterprise and third in sales and marketing nationally. With a proven track record of success, Ora Cards is poised to expand into the Wellington market in the coming year, providing an opportunity for even more New Zealanders to experience the joy of learning Te Reo through their high quality and engaging product.
