Ibolya is a part-time doctoral candidate within the School of Health. Her doctoral research is to compare and draw lessons for New Zealand from different health care systems and explore the role and regulations relating to Private Health Insurance in each country.

Ibolya was a Tutor in Health and Wellbeing in Aotearoa New Zealand from July 2022 to November 2022.
