Awards success for Creative Writing students
Congratulations to the winners of the latest awards in Creative Writing at Victoria.
Screenwriter David Brechin-Smith was awarded the David Carson-Parker Embassy Prize in Scriptwriting for his script Devils & Dust, a gripping story of the effects of modern day warfare on both civilians and combatants.
Ali Burns won the Brad McGann Film Writing Award for her feature film Adah, the story of a young woman who wins 500 years of extra life in a lottery.

Well-known Radio New Zealand broadcaster and journalist Nick Bollinger was the winner of the 2015 Adam Prize for Gonville, a coming of age music memoir about the 1970s and the outlaw heroes of the Wellington and New Zealand rock scene.
