Postgraduate study calls for advanced critical thinking, argumentation, writing and research skills. Student Learning will work with you to develop study skills that will enable you to make the most of your studies. Student Learning's services are available via Zoom or in person, some of the options you may find helpful are:

• One-to-one appointments with a Learning Adviser, your adviser who can act as a 'sounding board' for your topic ideas, or discuss writing strategies and your argument, contact Student Learning for an appointment.
• Throughout the year Student Learning run various workshops, check their calendar for upcoming events. Look for the ‘Postgraduate’ and ‘International Students’ tags.
• The Student Learning post-grad study hub has specific resources on critical thinking, writing and research skills.
• The Student Learning international study hub has resources specifically for our international students, including developing your English language skills and adapting to studying at Victoria University of Wellington.
