The minor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship will enable you to work for a start-up or to start your own businesses or social venture, but it will also help prepare you for careers in a range of organisations including commercial companies, government agencies, and NGOs.
If you’ve got a great idea for a product or service but no idea how to get it off the ground, the minor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship will give you the skills and tools you need to realise your vision. You’ll also have the opportunity to work in The Atom—Te Kahu o Te Ao Innovation Space, a co-working space for student entrepreneurs.
Innovation and Entrepreneurship is only available as a minor. You'll need to select another complementary subject to focus on for your major. Including courses in Innovation and Entrepreneurship within your Commerce degree can significantly improve your job prospects.
