Widen your perspective

Global Studies offers eight unique specialisations, known as minors. These bring together over 50 subject areas to give you an interdisciplinary perspective on global issues.

You can study courses from across five of our faculties—Wellington Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Wellington School of Business and Government, Wellington Faculty of Health, Wellington Faculty of Science, and the Wellington Faculty of Architecture and Design Innovation.

Wellington is the hub of international politics, policy, science, commerce, diplomacy, and culture. The University has networks and connections to the capital’s major industries, organisations, and employers. During your studies, you’ll be exposed to the key players through guest lectures and field trips.

After you graduate

Gain the interdisciplinary and intercultural abilities you need for a career in a range of industries and institutions, both in New Zealand and abroad.
