Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Psychology Practice

Entry requirements

Requirements for international students who studied in

To be accepted into this programme you will need:

  • A Master of Educational Psychology at this University, or a similar qualification elsewhere, with a B+ average for all coursework

  • At least 45 points from approved courses in Psychology at 200 or 300 level with an average grade of B or above

  • A minimum of one year (full-time equivalent) experience working in educational contexts with students

  • A full current driver’s licence or medical exemption

  • To be accepted by the Associate Dean (Academic) of the Wellington Faculty of Education as capable of proceeding with the proposed course of study

Important information

  • If you completed your required qualifications at a university other than Victoria, you'll need to provide verified copies of academic transcripts and certificates.
  • Starting the PGDipEPP is dependent on successful completion of the selection process, the availability of an approved internship placement, a satisfactory police check and acceptance by the New Zealand Psychologists Board, through an interview, to be registered as an Intern Psychologist.
