How to get this degree

You need to have a Bachelor of Commerce degree to get into the Postgraduate Diploma in Commerce programme.

Then, to be awarded the PGDipCom, you’ll need to complete eight courses worth 120 points. You can choose your eight courses from those listed in the subject requirements of any of the subjects on this page. Unlike the BCom(Hons), the PGDipCom lets you mix courses from different subjects. In that case, you’ll be awarded the PGDipCom without a specialisation.

If you do want to achieve a specialisation, simply choose all of your courses from within the same subject area. Course availability can vary—contact wsbg@vuw.ac.nz for more information about specialisations.
