To be accepted into this programme you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Commerce

  • To have previously completed three courses from: ECON 300–399 and PUBL 303

  • To be accepted by the programme director as being capable of proceeding with the proposed course of study.

Important information

  • To study Economics subjects at postgraduate level, we recommend that you have a suitable background in algebra, calculus, and probability, as well as some prior exposure to econometrics.
  • If you want to enrol in this programme but don’t meet some of the entry requirements, you should contact Wellington School of Business and Government to discuss your options. Selection is based on your academic performance in relevant subjects and an interview.
