Requirements for international students who studied in

To be accepted into this programme you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree

  • At least two years of professional work experience within the public service such as government, not-for-profit groups, iwi, and public sector service providers

  • To be accepted by the academic programme leader as capable of proceeding with the proposed course of study

  • While previous university-level study is an advantage, prospective students may be admitted based on extensive practical or professional experience of an appropriate kind.

Specialisations

Within the Master of Public Policy, you can choose a specialisation in an area of interest. To qualify for a specialisation, you need to include at least 45 points in approved courses at 400- or 500-level.
