Choosing your courses
- LALS 560 will not be required if you have completed at least two years of professional experience in language education or a related field.
- You can use the Postgraduate TESOL and Applied Linguistics Course Planner to help you choose your courses.
- To be accepted into our research courses (LALS 580–584), you must have already completed one or both of the research methods courses (LALS 540 and LALS 541) and have received a grade average of B+ or above in those or other 500-level courses.
If you meet these criteria, you should approach a potential supervisor or contact the acting programme director, Corinne Seals.

- With the approval of the Head of School, you may be able to replace courses from those listed above with other 500-level courses.
