Programme requirements
For the GCertSc, you’ll need to complete a coherent programme approved by the Head of School.
With approval, you may substitute up to 20 points' worth of courses from other programmes at this university.
You may obtain a GCertSc with a specialisation if your course of study includes 45 points from the 200- and 300-level requirements of the corresponding major subject (see below).

Study the concepts that lie at the basis of chemistry, and apply these ideas through research and work in the lab. With this major you’ll learn about molecules, the principles behind their behaviour, and how they interact with each other.
