The Brian Picot Chair in Ethical Leadership is associated with a number of advisory and governance roles.
Professor Lasthuizen is co-founder of the International academic network Public and Political Leadership (PUPOL).
Within the University, Karin is also the NZ National Partner for the global Ethics at Work .
Karin is also a member of the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) steering group for Wellington School of Business and Government. The second progress report for PRME was published in April 2019.
Editorial Boards
International Journal of Public Leadership (IJPL) is a multi-disciplinary and evidence-based journal that draws together the best international research and lived experiences of leadership in the public sphere. The journal includes articles from all disciplines that add to the understanding of public leadership. It affords a dedicated forum for the exchange of ideas and insights on leadership in challenging contexts of government, politics, and civil society. IJPL embraces theoretical and empirical research, alongside illuminating narratives on the exercise of leadership.
Administrative Sciences is an international, peer-reviewed and open-access scholarly journal, which publishes original theoretical and empirical work in organisation studies.
