Call for manuscripts for Issue 23 (2018) of the New Zealand Annual Review of Education / Te Arotake a Tau o Te Ao o te Matauranga i Aotearoa
This is an advanced call for manuscripts for Issue 23 (2018) of the NZAROE. Interested people are invited to submit proposals for papers that review current education policy issues.
The primary emphasis of the journal is on reviews of policy issues significant to the New Zealand education sector. Recent research addressing key educational developments and trends and set in a comparative international context will also be considered. Manuscripts from a range of theoretical perspectives and methodologies are welcome.
Proposals in the form of an extended abstract are due by 1 March 2018. Abstracts should be no more
than 500 words. Following review, the editors will advise proposers on the outcome of their proposal
by 10 March 2018.
A full manuscript of between 5,000 and 8,000 words is due I July 2018 and, if accepted, subject to a blind peer-review process, will be published online by the end of November 2018.
