Postgraduate study options
The School of Engineering and Computer Science offers a range of postgraduate degrees and qualifications designed to prepare you for your future career.
Our programmes range from honours and postgraduate certificates, to Master’s degrees and doctorates. These can be either taught or research based, industry or academically focused, and for those with or without prior technology experience.
Degree in another subject
If you have completed a degree in an area different to one of our subjects, you can try one of these options:
Postgraduate certificate and diploma
Complete a postgraduate qualification for professional development or as preparation for further postgraduate study:
Degree in Engineering
You can build on a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours (BE(Hons)) with one of these options:
Degree in a relevant area of science
You can build on your Bachelor of Science (BSc) with one of these options:
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
Once you have completed either an Honours or Master’s degree in a relevant area, you can enrol in a PhD. This degree involves a major piece of original research carried out under academic supervision, and will take at least three years of full-time study.
