Profile
Noel is a PhD student in Economics and a recipient of the Economics of Disasters Scholarship at Victoria University of Wellington. His research focuses on the economics of extreme weather events. He was a Senior Lecturer at the University of the Philippines Diliman and at Miriam College, teaching courses in international trade, money and banking, fiscal policy, international aid, and development economics. He has previously consulted for the Asian Development Bank and the World Bank on macroeconomic monitoring, poverty, and public finance.
