Profile
Miloud is a PhD student in Economics at the Wellington School of Business and Government. His current research focuses on the impact of tropical cyclones on near-shore fisheries. He received a bachelor’s degree from University Kasdi Merbah, Ouargla, Algeria in 2008, and received his master’s degree from Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2014. Miloud, also, holds a second master’s degree in Applied Statistics with Network Analysis from the Higher School of Economics, Moscow, Russia in 2020.
Before coming to Victoria University of Wellington, Miloud Lacheheb has worked as a part-time lecturer at the university of Kasdi Merbah, Algeria. He is also the founder of DZ ANALYSIS, a start-up that provides key-insights on the Algerian market and economy employing advanced data analysis methods.
