Enabling Digital Twin Cities to Better Support Social Dialogue on Urban Changes
This study explores Digital Twin and AR technologies for facilitating social dialogue between urban stakeholders to better support decision-making and feedback communicative processes and achieving more effective public participation in the urban context. By reviewing the practice of digital twin cities and the mechanism of social dialogue, this study proposes Geolation-based AR for citizen engaged urban matters and explores the potential of digital twin cities platform for the higher level of public participation regarding urban development issues.
