Spotlight Lecture Series
February 2018
The changing climate is reshaping our way of life: how and where we live, how we feed ourselves and what holds our societies together.
Professor James Renwick and Dr Rhian Salmon give an overview of the science of climate change and its likely consequences, a reminder of the need for urgency in tackling the problem and a discussion of different approaches for engaging New Zealanders in genuine conversations about this "wicked problem" and how can they help enable more informed decision-making.
The Victoria University of Wellington Spotlight Lecture Series is an opportunity to sample the research undertaken by University academics, in bite-sized lunchtime lectures. The Spotlight Series will take place regularly between 12.30–1.15pm in the Wellington CBD.
