Our framework
Ki te rā—Student Wellbeing Outcomes Framework 2024-2030 describes the University's commitment and approach, to build on the outstanding work we already do to advance student wellbeing. Key outcomes will enhance student wellbeing, prevent poor wellbeing, and empower students to thrive while reaching their potential.
From the research, consultation, and testing with experts we crafted the following four key outcomes that make up the heart of Ki te rā.
Building on the heart of Ki te rā we developed an action plan, which can be found on pages 10 through 22 of the document.
Objectives and actions were created with input from students and staff, guidance from expert advisers, research, our wellbeing data, exemplars, and we were purposeful about drawing from mātauranga Māori and Pasifika approaches.
Ki te rā is a framework to help everyone at the University understand and embed wellbeing into their mahi. The action plan doesn't list everything we could or will do but shows what we think is most important.
