Programmes offered in Auckland
Master of Secondary School Leadership (MSSL)
The Master of Secondary School Leadership gives you the skills you need to become a principal. You will learn to lead a secondary school and raise student achievement through effective management, curriculum analysis, and research-based decision making.
By combining educational and business thinking, you'll gain the tools you need to develop innovative solutions to issues you'll face in the management of a secondary school. Throughout the programme you'll have the opportunity to complete three, 3-day placements at secondary schools other than your own with an experienced senior staff.
Master of User Experience Design (MUXD)
User experience design is one of the largest growing design fields that address all aspects of user experience from understanding the perspectives of the users to the creation of the designs they interact with. User experience designers work across digital and physical media to improve the overall experience of design. User experience designers are skilled researchers, critical and creative thinkers, effective communicators, and expert design practitioners.
The Master of User Experience Design is part of the Industry Alliance Programme, delivered by the School of Design Innovation at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. It is a conversion degree.
