BIO

Adrian comes from a research and commercial consulting background, and has over a decade of experience lecturing in economics. Adrian provides a rare combination: a track record of successfully managing complex and multidisciplinary commercial research, a curiosity about developing and linking economic theory to the real world, and a commitment to bringing a passion for real world applications of economics to teaching.

Adrian joined the Faculty as a Programme Director to design, launch and teach into an applied graduate economics programme. To support the WSBG Programme portfolio, Adrian then took on the role of Academic Programme Leader for the multi-disciplinary Masters of Business (Professional).

In 2022, Adrian moved onto the University's new career track as a Senior Lecturer on the Teaching Intensive Pathway. This involves contributing to the ongoing development of critically reflective teaching practice, incorporating evidence-based advancements into learning, and pedagogical research. In this space, Adrian's research focuses on work-oriented education and evaluating teaching and learning interventions.

Currently, Adrian is leading the redesign of the Bachelor of Commerce as the BCom Director.
